Typical timeline from engagement to rebate disbursement is 16–24 weeks. The bulk is program-side review, not us.

Day 1

Portfolio assessment + proposal
Remote review of your properties (aerial), portfolio rebate estimate, and a written proposal. You see exactly what each property is worth.
Week 1
03
Engagement + deposit
$2,500 refundable deposit per property. Engagement letter signed. Site assessment scheduled.
Week 2
04
Site assessment + Guaranteed Rebate Plan
On-site walk-through, soil and exposure analysis, full design generated. Plant list, irrigation plan, permeable surface calc. Every requirement the program will ask about.
Weeks 3–5
05
Rebate application submission
Complete application package submitted with all required documentation. Pre-inspection scheduled.
Week 6

Program review + approval
The program reviews and approves. We coordinate the pre-inspection and respond to any program-manager questions. Installation can begin.
Weeks 8–14
07
Installation + post-inspection
Landscape contractor (yours or one of our partners) installs per the approved plan. Post-inspection completes. Rebate disburses.

The window is closing
New California turf-irrigation rules for commercial and institutional properties take effect early 2027. Voluntary today, mandatory next year. Properties that move first capture the rebate. Properties that move last pay full cost to comply.
