Your number. Our fees. One view.

Pick a segment, set portfolio size and rough turf area. The fee structure is in the output — no surprises later.

Avg turf per property 3,000 sq ft

Turf area is the lawn or irrigated grass that converts to drought-tolerant landscaping. We measure precisely during site assessment.

How the fees work

Step 1

Refundable deposit

$2,500

per property, at engagement

Refunded in full if the rebate does not approve. Credited against the success fee at approval.

Step 2

Success fee

15%

of approved rebate, at disbursement

No approval, no fee. Deposit credits in here. We take our cut after you've taken yours.

Step 3

5-year audit service

1%

of rebate per year, for 5 years

Annual site audit, photo review on demand, design guidance, annual ESG report. Covers the full clawback window.

What we handle

Our side. Your side.

Not a form-filling service. We run the entire rebate lifecycle from first walk-through to year-five sign-off.

We do

Everything below.

  • Site assessment with on-property visit and aerial measurement
  • Guaranteed Rebate Plan: full design, plant list, irrigation, permeable surface calc
  • Rebate application package preparation and submission
  • Photo documentation, pre-inspection, post-inspection coordination
  • Annual compliance audits across the 5-year window
  • Design adjustments, plant replacement guidance, irrigation tuning
  • Rebate disbursement tracking and reconciliation

You do

Three things.

  • Sign the engagement letter
  • Provide property access for site assessment and inspections
  • Send us photos throughout the year if you want extra audits

Compliance, off your desk

Five years. One inbox. Ours.

We audit. We document. We answer every program letter, request, and spot inspection. The window ends with a clean sign-off and an ESG packet on your desk.

Year 1

Baseline locked

On-site walk-through, photo documentation, irrigation and plant inventory recorded to inspection-ready standard.

Year 2

Quiet check-in

Annual site review and any photos you send between visits. Issues flagged and corrected before they need correcting.

Year 3

Mid-cycle proof

Comprehensive audit at the midpoint. Updated Gaia Score on file. Status report to your inbox.

Year 4

Pre-flight

Documentation refresh ahead of the year-5 review. Any gaps closed before the program does.

Year 5

Clean exit

Final inspection coordinated. Sign-off packet delivered. ESG record on hand. File closes.

The process

From first call to first dollar.

Typical timeline from engagement to rebate disbursement is 16–24 weeks. The bulk is program-side review, not us.

01

Discovery call

30 minutes. We understand the portfolio, walk through eligibility, and answer questions. No commitment.

Day 1

02

Portfolio assessment + proposal

Remote review of your properties (aerial), portfolio rebate estimate, and a written proposal. You see exactly what each property is worth.

Week 1

03

Engagement + deposit

$2,500 refundable deposit per property. Engagement letter signed. Site assessment scheduled.

Week 2

04

Site assessment + Guaranteed Rebate Plan

On-site walk-through, soil and exposure analysis, full design generated. Plant list, irrigation plan, permeable surface calc. Every requirement the program will ask about.

Weeks 3–5

05

Rebate application submission

Complete application package submitted with all required documentation. Pre-inspection scheduled.

Week 6

06

Program review + approval

The program reviews and approves. We coordinate the pre-inspection and respond to any program-manager questions. Installation can begin.

Weeks 8–14

07

Installation + post-inspection

Landscape contractor (yours or one of our partners) installs per the approved plan. Post-inspection completes. Rebate disburses.

Weeks 14–24

Why now

Three reasons the math is good this year.

The window is closing

New California turf-irrigation rules for commercial and institutional properties take effect early 2027. Voluntary today, mandatory next year. Properties that move first capture the rebate. Properties that move last pay full cost to comply.

The money is real

The deturfing rebate program is fully funded and actively writing checks. Thousands of properties claimed last year. Budgets renew with each fiscal cycle and California's standing water restrictions keep the program replenished.

No one else does this

Landscape architects design. Contractors install. Nobody runs the rebate process plus the 5-year compliance window for property operators. Your peers are leaving six- and seven-figure rebates uncollected because they don't know it's possible.
